TOXIN TESTING IFFY, SAY EXPERTS

As politicians and celebrities line up to have their blood tested to raise awareness about toxins in our bodies, some experts say the results will be of little use to Canadians. "It won't give us any guidance about how common these findings are across a representative sample of Canadians, so it doesn't tell us anything," said Bill Liess, a risk expert at the University of Ottawa. "The real question is: Are levels of certain contaminants in our blood what we should worry about?"
